Do you believe that he is lobbying for his next job-
the President of the United Nations?

Richard, Thank you for your opinion, I am always interested to hear the viewpoints of others, be they similar or contrarian .
I would like to comment on something you wrote regarding the <rules of the game> being changed.
You wrote <When I began investing in gold I was naive enough to think free market forces were in play and did not consider that the rules of the game would be changed each time gold started to rise.>

The rules of the game haven't changed, that is what they <the governments and the central banks> want us to believe.
All free markets are governed by two fundamental and irrevocable considerations, . . . they are human nature and the laws of supply and demand. These are forces no government can control. . . they just want you to BELIEVE they can. History will attest to the fact that GOVERNMENTS, CARTELS AND CENTRAL BANKS may manipulate markets but the fundamental laws will always win out in the end.
