Doug, you and I both seem to suffer from the same investment problem. We both try to look logically at the market. My broker has to keep telling me: "The market doesn't make sense!" It's just the way it is I guess.

You can't really compare CREAF with the internet stocks. You can only compare the internet stocks to each other. They're just new, "hot" stocks with groupie followers who don't care about this years earnings. They each think they've bought the next Microsoft and they're going to hang on for megagains.

If you want to go short on those stocks, maybe the best way to play it would be to short the most overvalued of the bunch and go long the most undervalued. Or buy some out of the money calls as a hedge. It's not clear that the insanity that's driven them up this high is over, and being short them in a bull market recovery could be very costly.

I think there will eventually be a time to short those stocks with little risk, but I personally don't think we're there yet. Maybe after the "January effect". Good luck though.
