I think not releasing photos makes you much less of a nut case. <G> The team had to know that Paki jets would be after unidentified invaders in helicopters at some point. One of the things I used to do in the Army is time Russian jets as they scrambled when one of our prop planes "accidentally" crossed the East German or Czech border. Now Russians are much better than Pakistanis at that sort of thing, but pilots are pretty good everywhere. A stun gun might have worked, but do you want to be the guy carrying the stun gun while the enemy probably has real guns? I know that if I out ranked anyone on the team, it wouldn't be me with the stun gun. <G> The other factor I know is that the night vision goggles suck once somebody starts firing un flash protected weapons. The shooter may not have had a clear picture upon which to base a decision.
