Mike,

you wrote-
"The team had to know that Paki jets would be after unidentified invaders in helicopters at some point.

Again, they did take the time to scour the building for intelligence, so I don't see how snatching would have added to the total time on premises since you would do those things in parallel - assuming they had the manpower, which they clearly did.

I may be way off base here, but if you just wing someone with a real bullet aren't the chances of get shot back at much higher than if you wing someone with a stun gun? In other words, isn't a stun gun effective no matter where someone is hit, whereas a bullet can have little effect, depending on where the target is struck?

Did you see that video that ABC got a hold of that shows the room where supposedly OBL bought it? Did you notice the 3 or 4 foot perfectly circular hole in the wall? I suspect that was done in order to lob either concussion grenades(flashbangs) through, or maybe something more exotic, like what the Russians used in the opera house to neutralize the Chechen terrorists. In the later case, it's probably more likely that they found OBL singing the Star Spangled Banner than touting a weapon. <G>

The fact that the administration is having a hard time keeping the story straight is a fairly good indication that the story isn't true. Factual information is much easier to keep straight than prevarications.
