Well I bot a new notebook today and it looks like its a keeper. I was debating on an i7 or and i5, so I called Intel and told them the specs of the two notebooks, and they said go for the i5. It was only 50 dollars cheaper than the i7. But came with more goodies.

Its an Asus N53SV-B1 w/ Core i5-2410M, 6GB, 640GB, Blu-ray Combo, 15.6in Full HD LED, GeForce GT 540 1 GB, Win 7 Home Premium, US layout keyboard with number pad (some keyboard flex that is a bit annoying)

Cost $1022.00 before tax. Price is right, great sound, USB 3, I think this is a better machine than the Dell 15R.

This ends my 8 month journey in ordering notebooks and researching them to get the right one to keep.

It's a keeper.
