Is that a funny looking ghost with a left hand up to his ear?

Excel question. I've got a licensed paid for copy of Excel 2003 on my laptop, but I haven't got any software discs. The Excel is acting very strangely with certain files and crashing with others, probably from things I've added and removed over the years. I want to remove this copy of Excel 2003, and reinstall a fresh clean version.

Is there some way to do this without the actual discs? It's from a licensed copy of Office 2003. Can I download the Excel installation files from MSFT's site or something?

Looks like a winner. What are all the buttons to the right and left of the touchpad, just stickers or are they functional? Eight months....wow...I can't imagine having that much patience.

Your laptop has about five times the processing
power of my wife's tower--and I'm guessing that
it uses about one fifth the energy. Pretty amazing
what you can get for just $1k. And I'm sure most
of us paid over $2k twenty years ago for our 386
and 486's.

I already mentioned awhile back that I finally
recycled my 486 this year after one last boot
just for fun. I have a nice dry crawlspace
under my house where I throw all my old junk. So,
a fella from work says I must be a real pack rat--
which struck a chord. I threw out a copy of Windows
Millennium just now as I get started on my spring
cleaning <g>.
