Shane:

Like yourself, I hope that article turns out to be true too. You brought of a great point in one of you past couple of posts. You said: If a company does not provide the neccessary info to its investors so they can have a sense of where the company is going then that investment may not be neccessarily so great! I am a LSI hard core bull (to say the least as I am up to my neck with LSI shares). However what we (the LSI small player investors as compare to the big boys) lack is company's lack of responsiveness to its share holders. Just go back to the way they reported their last earnings report as a minor example of such lack of responsiveness. First there was the confusion as the date of the earnings announcement, and then when it finally came out there was a confusion over the actual numbers! While we all (or at least I) have a perception of how LSI is doing (based on the industry trend and the direction of overall technology), I do not feel I have been truly getting any sense of solid direction as where the company is going and how it is doing! I, for example, do not know yet whether the rumors surrounding LSI logic's contract with Sony which were the reasons in the first place to knock the stock down from the mid $40's to the low $30's were true or not! The company has never really made that clear! or perhaps I am missing something and I certainly appreciate that if someone can make that clear for me. But anyway this is just a small example of how the company is not communicating well with it share holders. And regretdully this seems very much similar to how other premium high tech firms (e.g. Ascend) have been treating their share holders.

I am still 1000% bullish on LSI, but just a bit touchy when it comes to company's handling of share holders and genral investment community.
