"If its forever off limits to drilling it isn't a strategic supply." No one is saying that...... But a helluva good case must be made to drill anywhere one wants despite the negatives.... The meager oil retrieved from those spots is years away from commercialization..... but the oil companies and conservative toadies want us to believe the gasoline prices will come down next week because we have huge reserves never touched or found... The main point is....the US is almost completely drained and we still hear lies calling for drill baby drill.... If you want to debate peak oil, "bring it on".....
