"False. Not only is ANWR off limits, much of the US coastline is as well."

A recent report says ANWR has only 876 million barrels....not the 22 billion oil companies tout.... Is that amount going to make a difference in getting us weaned from foreign oil....let's not be silly... Ditto for the coastline. If you are only interested in near term profits, the oil companies thank you. But if you are intending to fool the driving public into thinking gas prices can come down in a month or two, you're being very dishonest...it's an even bigger deception if you are trying to say we can drill our way out of foreign oil dependence...that is what is really stupid..
