Interesting story from the N.Y. Times about First Union and Nationsbank. Weren't BT trial systems installed at both companies awhile ago? nytimes.com

OK, bound to be someone else around here that knows whether it was hiring additional or training more existing personnel. Yes to your Nation's Bank & First Union question, I've also heard the name Wheat First mentioned somewhere but I can't recall what it was in reference to. Val - great find. I understand if Texas were "a whole 'nother country" its GNP would be the fifth largest of any country on earth, of course if all the roads in Texas were strung end to end, it would go a long way pardner. :-)
