Has Apple cleaned up the Apple Store already? It looks cleaner than it did on Mon./Tues.

Nice fold-out ad in Business Week as well. Makes the point that the new PowerBook is 80% faster than the 233 mhz Tillamook. I've already had to dash off some e-mails today to authors who have been underestimating this PowerPC advantage.

Anyone starting to notice some buzz starting for Office '98? I guess the beta is out and supposedly Microsoft has delivered a fine product. Should drive hardware sales, starting in February.

Anyone,

Please also note that another Business Week article authoritively states that the cheapest Mac is $1500. What bullshit! Obviously Business Week hires people who don't know crap and don't take anytime to find actual facts!

Marc,

Business Week also states that the cheapest Mac is $1500. What bullshit!

businessweek.com

I found this deal at Small Doggy in less than 3 minutes:

SuperMac C600/200 16/2.1gb/8X/28.8 (603e) w/scanner new $ 1199.00

note this price for a 200MGZ computer includes a scanner!

If Business Week's big 'ol reporters can't do 10 minutes of research how much is their info worth?
