Read AMD's annual reports - you'll get a load of the shareholder suits, none of which AMD wins.

I expect some more to be filed in December/January after AMD announces that Q4 will indeed have a loss - this one a substantial one.

Remember - Q3/Q4 is generally the most robust for semiconductor manufacturers, due to holiday seasonal buying. Well, all components needed to be purchased (for finished product) must already be purchased and in production for these finished products to be shipped and on dealer's shelves by several weeks before Christmas.

Even if AMD gets its production problems straightened out, by the time these devices come rolling off the lines, the ASPs will be 25% below today's ASPs and the "channel will be full" of Intel CPUs - ordered when AMD CPUs "weren't available".

All the signs are there - we're just waiting for the official word.
