Drakes you stated

"There are no large pending orders that will soon be turned into sales."

May I ask how YOU KNOW THIS?? IS this a fact, or your wish??

The truth is you don't know, and time will tell. And we HAVE TIME!!

I think in the CC they said a dozen paying customers, not systems
(I think). Think there were another two-dozen trials; of these, at
least half will probably be sales. We dont know what orders are on
the way. I believe Inacom knows their market and could get Race
cash flow positive in the spring. You said you would get floored
if Race sells more than 100 servers during the next 12 months;
why do you think they will not? I will 'get floored' if they
dont, because I think the market is there, if given support and
service.

Drakes, what I extracted from the conference call above everything else was that sales will grow to significant/material levels, with time and patience. One or two big sales could be the catalyst for additional sales. The company has moved from the "highly speculative, no sales" mode to a mode in which the product is starting to sell as the distribution teams are gearing up. Perhaps the shorts will conclude that they've milked this one for what it's worth and move on to more exciting prospects. Similarly, the institutions sitting on the sides waiting for signals that this company is for real may start to buy as sales and the distribution teams grow. One thing is clear, IMO, namely, the day they announce the big sale, the shorts better run for the hills as fast as they can. Question, if a million dollar sale were to be announced suddenly, do you think there could be a short squeeze?

drakes, You certainly didn't read my post very well!!! If you had, you would have realized that the comment (- Personally I like the 50 installers better, as that need would imply BT was selling like rain falling from the sky!!!)you took out of context, was referring to my correction of incorrect data previously posted on the thread!!!

i.e. my statement directly above the paragraph you re-quoted out of context- Several of the above posts mention "50 Installers," me thinkist that that # may have come from Inacom having 50 Branch Officies, or someone planning on training 50 sales personnel, Not 50 installers??? If memory serves me right, Inacom has 1400 employees, don't know how many are sales personnel.

Also, From Marshall's Post, it turns out that Inacom has 1600 Locations World Wide This was peviously reported as 1600 employees. Now, each office must have more than 1 or two employees!!! I stated that I didn't know how many sales personnel Inacom had, but with 50 trained so far, Inacom alone should be able to multiply salespersonnel for BT by a factor of 50!!! (At the rate DR is training, it may take 2 Years though) Even one like yourself might tend to think that some additional sales would be generated by a Five Order of Magnitude increase in BT salespersonnel??? Even you drakes knows that the blind squirrel sometimws gets nuts.

- Wonder what Inacom,DG and the 6 other Resellers really see in BT to be investing sales training time, money, etc. into it???

- Inacom also announced that BT was a pilot for their new Interactive Video Training Program!!! drakes, you think that they would roll out that tyoe of program on a sales bomb, or to rapidly train personnel??? dam drakes now the ??? key is sticking too!!! You should see what happens when the return key sticks!!!

Drakes, I realize that most of the time your comments are either ignored or misinterpreted as just words to 'try and drive the stock down'. I personally want to thank you for giving this group a middle ground between the 'hype' of the longs and the bashing of the shorts. I believe you provide people here with a resonable and logical realization of what kind of situation Race is in, and if they do not want to pay attention to both sides then they unfortunately missing out on something they may later regret.

I have only brought this up due to the fact that I have recently jumped ship. I have owned this stock for well over a year only to see revenues drop significantly, expectations that could not be met, and fincancing deals to keep this company floating. Now that their non-BT revenues are next to nill, Race is DEPENDING on BT to save the company, and quickly (IMHO). I could go on and on about what I feel is way too much Risk to concern me, but that would be useless to everyone. I only state my opinions so that maybe some of you take a step back and look at this entire situation before what I feel will be an unhappy ending. I have been long this puppy since this thread was started by Marshall, and I can only look at the company and know that I would not be a buyer of this stock even here at such a low price.

Sorry folks, but my hard earned money has better pastures to graze upon. I really hope BT does take off, and I hope everyone gets out of it what they hoped for.

Fred
