I think the ~36 mentioned would be a total of the direct & resellers and that one should not automatically assume we have heard the last of those that have indeed purchased. If I recall the company was very clear in regards to the way this "double sales cycle" works out as well as the manner in which sales in general could be expected to occur.

I suppose one could sum it up as this:
1) Purchase of a trial implies the customer approves of the system.
2) Planning of any follow-up orders for additional implementation would begin.
3) Order(s) submitted to reseller, reseller submits order(s) to Data Race.
4) Product is manufactured, shipped, installed, tested, approved.
5) Checks are exchanged between all parties.

Now it should already be obvious the initial purchasers are being rather shy about allowing their names to be used, I'm sure some of these purchased trials were placed with impressive names that Dr. Barker would have loved to mention for PR purposes. The question then remains as to how much and at what stage of #3, 4 or 5 above we could expect to hear anything at all.

do you think there could be a short squeeze?

I believe it would take a "far larger" or "several of" to instill some sense of urgency.
Then again I suppose "the party of the second part" and the nature of their purchase(s)
might have some bearing in the matter.
