Thanks for your concern, Karen.

Just been busy with Dr.'s appointments, repairs on the house and traveling. Went up to the Lake House in Trinity this last weekend to visit our youngest son and wife's new business which is call the "Legends Bar and Grill". Youngest daughter's mate's Band was playing Saturday night there. Had a good time meeting lots of Trinity people but only stayed for a couple of hours as we were tired out from the trip up. Hubby and son played golf Sunday morning and we visited awhile and started home again.

It was a miserable one up having a blowout on the freeway and happened right at 5:00 p.m. and rode the rim until we found a tire store which was just closing, but the Manager there was just so helpful and told us he would get us back on the road before closing for the night. We will be sending a letter to his Company commenting on his extraordinary help to us. Young men with great values and service oriented and I'm sure one of their very profitable stores. Watched the other young ones clean up the stalls after and they looked so neat and clean. The Manager was 21 years old and his employees were in their late teens and all very hard working young men. That was nice to see and so appreciated their help and care for us senior people.

Other than that, Libby, the Bengal cat, wants to be an outside cat and is hard to keep in as when the door opens he runs out quickly. Happened this morning when my husband left for work and he woke me up hollering at him. I went out and called him and no sight of him. I looked at the flower bed on the right and there at the end of it, he was laying down just staring at me and paying no attention to what I said. He doesn't run from me, just ignores me. Had to go climb into the bed and pick him up. He weighs about 15 pounds now and when picked up feels like dead weight. He is a big cat. I have him locked up with me in my office and he is sleeping right by the Office door just waiting for someone to open it. He is mostly a sweet cat but does have a mind of his own when it comes to wanting to be outside. I can't let him stay out as putting food out would just invite the raccoons coming to eat his food and he would be in danger as they would attack him for sure. They are mean critters and years ago we lost my oldest son's cat to one that just about shredded him to pieces with his claws. Was an awful sight and don't want to see that kind of sight ever again.

I have been mostly lurking reading the news and this thread when time permits, mostly at night when the house is quiet and telephone not ringing. Time to go dress for dinner. Thanks again for your concern. Love & Hugs, Naomi
