That's not what I was saying. USB is going to be embedded in Win98. Growth is going to be increasingly in USB peripherals. A RBOC would be insane to capitalize a system that did not have a guarantee of USB modem support at the user end. I'm sure that a number of users will get ASDL with a new modem on their old machine, but the demise of transitional plug-and-play was ordained the minute Microsoft and Intel decided USB would be the future standard.

Aware can support any user access it wants, but I can't imagine the Bells buying it without the USB support demonstrated. I can't imagine it will be all THAT difficult.
