Paul, RE:"AMD is lowering their prices INDEPENDENT of shipping product."

If you say that AMD raised prices in October and now they cut them again,
1. You are saying that their announced prices are bogus
2. Why did they raise the price from $300 a month ago to $350 for the month of October, if they weren't able to sell the chips?

No, the price changes you see at thechipmerchant and at mom&pop computer builders are reflective of chip avilability, not AMD yanking prices up and down like a yoyo.
