Interesting stuff O49r.

I watched, with exitement, the Nikkei break the 15,000 intraday Friday.

When it breaks for good, IMO, the Japanese will have to dump en masse their US bond paper to shore up their balance sheets, and all Hell will break loose.

Appropriately Short, Fran‡ois.

ps 3 hours before opening bell, I'm getting the popcorn ready

I have been following this thread, and I am wondering what do people here feel the dollar - yen reaction would be if the Japanese started selling Bonds for repriation..Presently it is 126 to $1.00 would it go to 115 to 1 or 135 to 1 over night...? I am curious on people opinions.

Don

W/today's rather convincing break-Nikkei's inviolate 16,000 level-I'd like t'invite all wishing to review the chart of what JAS. Life Ins. company portfolios are in deep voodoo now that 16,000 is broken. Just click on the (9) up by my name and re-read S&P's report re: same!

DG may have factored in rampant JAS bankruptcies,
but one thing is for certain in my mind's eye:
the US stockmarket certainly HAS NOT!

PS...got some NIFTY placer gold available for any who might be interested in a "non callable form...."
