"You seem to like making arguments from authority"

Tim, that would be you

Ridiculous. I haven't made any arguments from authority in this discussion, and its rare for me to do so in other discussions.

A definition for perjury is

"Definition of PERJURY
: the voluntary violation of an oath or vow either by swearing to what is untrue or by omission to do what has been promised under oath : false swearing "

merriam-webster.com

That's not an argument for authority, there are other definitions and I'm not saying you have to agree with that specific definition or think its the most relevant one. But by that definition, Clinton committed perjury. And whatever definition you use for perjury Clinton was impeached, fined and disbarred for lying under oath, not for sex.
