I think Jim's about your age and likes to run and swim
I would bet we could get this thread to rustle up the sponsors to make this race happen.
Lets make it a triathlon. You swim down the coast and he'll swim up, dry off in Cape Fear, bike to Kansas, run to San Francisco and sprint across the Golden Gate.

I do not go for that, <g> I ran a 12.5 second hundred was so slow even the fat kids could beat me but ran a 5:08 mile as a Freshman in 1964 my only year for track. I kept jogging for 40 years after that. Now I just bike.

Glad to see you are in great shape.

I have a 4:40 in the first mile of the Manchester Road Race (downhill for the 1st quarter mile) but never broke 12 seconds in a 100 yard. 56 now but haven't raced in 12 - 15 years.

May do Manchester again as it approaches its 75th anniversary.

Did run for 120 minutes this AM, probably at a 9 min pace.

I wouldn't even try to run a fast 100, would probably tear a groin (I've done this 3 times, not fun).
