One year later. Are you still seeking "homogeneous cause as a consortium of meaningful participation".

The EZ tried this way. See how it ended. Here is the place where words come back biting...

He is the real father of EZ: (The American Challenge, 1967). It sold 600,000 copies in France, unprecedented for a political essay, and was translated into 15 languages. This book was instrumental in creating a resurgence of French nationalism and drawing attention to the importance of transnational cooperation in Europe.

Building on the book's success, he traveled throughout Europe, speaking to packed lecture halls, touting the advantages of a federal Europe with a common currency and of a decentralized France.

See how a chain of events happens: Discovery of pre-salt oil=>throws shovel of dirt on Peak Oil theory=>US kicked in fracking and shale gas=>US push for lowering trade deficit=>US keeps Canadian oil out

There are always actions and counter actions.

What chain of events China raise will unleash? I look to historical evidence.

US raise effects were:
Create a push for an unified Europe.
Created resentment among LATAM oligarchies.
Create China push for modernization

When I see an action, I try predicting what the reaction will be? Which chain of events it will unleash?

Last decade showed US resents China rise in several ways, if you judge by the reactions to purchase of assets:
Hayer buying Maytag, CNOOC buying UNOCAL.

It is a very territorial phenomenon. It is common among states.

We see the reaction of the US capital owners of capital that see encroaching in its territory. Dubai buying World Ports is another case in point.

It is not dissimilar to LATAM oligarchies ressenting capital from abroad trying to encroach in their territories.

Compare that with the Fench's reaction to American capital power push in the 60´s:

It presented the United States and Europe as engaged in a silent economic war, in which Europe appeared to be completely outclassed on all fronts: management techniques, technological tools, and research capacity. Servan-Schreiber saw in this thesis the potential for a seminal book. He fleshed it out with reading keys and concrete proposals for a counter-offensive. The result was his international best-seller "Le Défi Américain" (The American Challenge, 1967).

Capital owners joins local oligarchies to defend against invasions into their territory. See Petrobras: Brazilian oligarchies think: "all mine. all mine".

We don't want foreigners here to eat this pre-salt oil rapadura.

Same as Europe reaction to American in 60's coming to eat their Euro pizza.

Same as US reaction to Japan coming to eat their hamburguer late 80s.

Same reaction when Germans did not want Arabs with petrodollars in the 70s coming to eat their sauerkraut. They enacted laws to avoid foreigners buying up Daimler, Mannesmann or VW.

No need to talk about Japaneses not wanting foreigners to go there to eat their sushi back in its hey day...
