Little Sally needs to get a grip lol

Oh, but don’t worry seniors, if you’re older than 55, you’re OK — just your children and grandchildren will be affected

That is a measure to preserve medicare by extending the ages for qualification. People do live longer and adjustments have been a common instrument in bringing the programs into line. The same needs to be done with Social Security as well as stripping some of the funds distributed to idiots who just don't want to work and twist their laziness into a handicap. Like the guy who was recently highlighted that prefers to be treated like a baby for his entire life. How nice lol If you stripped that fat slob of his benefits and didn't give him welfare either, you would see how fast he would be looking for work.

Medicare should be gotten rid of for all.

Medicare requires secondary insurance and pays for little of the real cost.

Thus, a Medicare recipients pays twice------------money is taken out of their checks by the government for basic Medicare.

The Medicare recipient pays equal or a greater amount to have full insurance.

That means that the Medicare recipient is paying "two times for medical care" which in reality is as much as they would pay if the government were out of the picture.

The Federal government being in the picture is about control-----controlling every step a person makes------approving what doctors the person goes to----controlling what procedures.

The paper work, computer work for doctors and hospitals is horrendous, as they must comply with the Federal Government mandates.

Just think of the savings to all Americans if the Federal Government closed down the Medicare system and distributed the Social Security Payments to the bonafide recipients as originally envisioned.

How did America ever get to this screwed up mess of a system???.

kenneth's recovery in progress according to the NY Times:

The Numbers Are Grim

A month ago, when an initial gauge of first-quarter economic growth came in surprisingly weak, many policy makers and economists expected the bad news to prove fleeting. But when revised data were released last week, the growth estimate remained stuck at an annual rate of 1.8 percent, compared with 3.1 percent at the end of last year.More troubling in the latest figures, consumer spending — the largest component of the economy — was especially slow. Stagnant wages and higher prices for gas and food are squeezing family budgets, while falling home equity hurts consumer confidence. That suggests more bad news to come.

"Not destroying it, just doing the same thing differently. It replaces the current design with a different design but retains the program. It only seems like destruction if you can't differentiate between requirements and design and are wedded to a particular design."
