I'm a model neighbor. Silent. Squeak clean sidewalk. Neighbors benefited handsomely since I first built when the street was in bad shape and blocked by a property dispute.

Prices skyrocketed after I built there and the area has improved a lot.

I don't think my neighbors would side with an animal.

We Homo Sapiens Sapiens dominated the planet. We are the winner species here. Thus, these animals have to be in their habitats and not come around messing with us Homo Sapiens Sapiens.

Dinossaurs roamed the place for 160 millions of years eating anything that moved. And I don't think there were dinossaurs trying to protect any first mammals from whom we descend.
