No vendetta at all, just contesting your original point on pricing vs the Corvette. I think the American manufacturers have gotten much better, and their small cars are more competitive, more so Ford's than GM's. That said, I've been a long time Toyota and Honda customer and see no reason to change based on my experience.

PS - Check the May article I posted to you on the Volt, the numbers we are talking here in terms of auto sales are pretty much meaningless at this point. I think they will remain so unless gas really soars higher or there is a cost breakthrough in the battery arena. Keep in mind that gas prices are much higher in Europe and have been for some time, and they have attacked that problem with small diesels....
