Very correct what was said - but many Muslim relate to Islam as a heritage. It will take at least 2 generations for this to be accepted in the ME, if at all. Only then peace will prevail.

Actually.. prior to the founding of the US, there really was little separation between Church and State.

The US paved the way for the implementation of that concept, some opining that it was the Freemason influence that motivated it.

Therefore, Islam, like any other religion, is incompatible with secular values when religious zealots are in charge.
