Matt, I have often times laughed in amusement as you guys have chided Zeev with that ZIDDI indicator. I just about fell out of my chair when I read his suggestion that funds might be selling tommorrow. Of all the days a professional Fund manager would not sell it would be tommorrow. To top it off he keeps drumming up the "what if" they sell banner. John W's post gives you a peek at the mindset of a Fund manager who has "invested" in IPM. Does Cap Guardian own 12% of IPM because they feel they have a liquid position at this time? What would be their reason for selling? Because the expectations of the Silicon Investor thread have not been met?

People need to take a step back and look at the PROGRESS that is being made. To many people are in this "I'm gonna get rich quick" frame of mind and it has destorted their good judgement. The more I analyze this PR the more I ask myself whats wrong with it? The answer is NOTHING!! We have the goods period. Yes its going to take a bit longer but SO WHAT? Yes IPM has made some mistakes and are maybe guilty of speaking to soon, but this is a very complex ore body. Are they not entitled to make mistakes? What I look at is are they learning and making the necessary adjustments to their misgivings. I believe enlisting Bateman answers that question. Lets Rock & Roll!!

Robert

I guess I'm a lone voice here ...

But if Ron's statement there are 2 million shares shorted (don't know where they borrowed the shares!) is true ...

One or more is gonna break ranks ... and cover!

Why?

There is no possibility now of their best case scenario ... IPM is NOT a scam ... precious metals are there ... and there's a limited number of small retail investors that get rattled (probably just as many there ready to pick up those shares!) ...

Further ... this assay report is only the first step ... everything from here on out will be better and better ... we know the metals are there ... we're down to a matter of chemistry and economics ...

IOW ... a TECHNICAL play ... just like we've been saying all year.

The only hope the shorts have now is rattling the cage of the small retail investors ... sure ... they're going to pick up some shares ... but I see the consensus on this thread is no one has really changed their pro/con position. I simply don't see droves of small investors selling at the market on the open.

Then why remain in a short position with an UNLIMITED loss potential?

When the shorts begin to cover ... it will be a thing of beauty!
