What is really driving me nuts, and I mean really nuts, is the fact that all the MSM, but especially CNN, treat these Republican's like they were actually saying something true and substantive and with merit. None of it has merit. And worse they all know it, but won't say it or even challenge them.

I saw Andrew card say the thing that really pisses him off is the dems won't have a debate in the primary. Who debated bush? Card was there. And that meat head Anderson cooper did say: "isn't that how it is done",but refused to take the next step of saying "what in the fuck are you talking about"?

Every single word that came out of those Reublican's mouths tonight was either a bold faced lie or crazy talk. And it wasn't like the old Republican's of just being selfish or sort of wrong, it has evolved into pure blatant bullshit. They are that close to advocating dumping mercury in the rivers and trying to convince us it is good for us.

Oh, I forgot they are actually doing it. Fracking.

All our efforts in the 60's came to nothing I guess. We have become a nation of crazy people believing pure crazy shit. And it didn't help electing the one guy who could have changed that, and then watch him just make fools of us.

Remember Obama and Robert Gibbs telling the liberals; "quit your whining". Now we know why they said that.

This country is royally fucked.

Obama might lose if the economy doesn't improve, but I do not see a Republican sweep in 2012. If anything, the Democrats are going to make Congressional gains. Seniors, who put the Republicans in power last year, are clearly spooked by their proposals to get rid of Medicare.

"And what's his solution? To go golfing with 2 people who have sworn never to raise taxes, and who will willing sell Redwood National Park to the Chinese for timber. You don't change that mindset during a "long walk spoiled." He is screwing us, big time."

Both Bohmer and Obama have the same problem---bases pulling them toward the extreme---that wish to take them away from the center---and this could cost either party the Presidency if that happens. If both can find ways to help each other tame each other's base that could be symbiotic--and good for the country. It's only Democrats that can win the center that can stay in national office.
