US defaults and the goes on partial gold standard and world rushes to invest in US.Chinese say "What kind of game is this where the winner gives all the marbles back to the loser" just as De Gaulle said when Nixon took the US off the gold standard in 1971.The circle is complete and the world moves on.Maybe history does repeat?
