Dave, Of course I can't go into specifics about individual companies or even the credit group but we have many of the privledges of bank loan officers in being allowed to see "behind the numbers" with regard to financials, visit and discuss issues with principals and officers and we can also see and consider ordering trends. We also know the employees and oficers of the individual ECMs and several like me have been in this industry for twenty five years or more. When you put all of the top credit managers and controllers from an industry in a room for a couple of days to frankly discuss the individual industry members a lot of good information comes out. These credit manager, in our group in any case, are mostly MBAs and a few are even CPA\MBAs. I bet we can forecast our industry better than brokerages can. We are much more industry specific.

Nobody can perfectly see into the future and there are many, many variables. We certainly know how business has been the past few months and can usually predict the next few months too. If we miss very often, by very much ...then we have to go work somewhere else.
