but for hard currency holders everything was laughably cheap.

That's the way the Aussie's feel when they fly in here. Their money has almost doubled against ours in the last few years. Can anyone say, "mining?"

The best assets Greece has to offer will be sold for pennies on the dollar. It is tantamount to looting and pillaging after a war


Another example of out of control government spending ruining a good country.

The European financial community is no better. They don't appear to understand the problem is out of control govt spending. So far they just keep on feeding the cash pigs. The only solution they know is to keep on wasting more money, which is no solution at all.
This overlay fits the USA too.

The waste of OPM is astonishing.
