686 200MX OC

My bios supports M2. If OC 686 200 to 166MHZ how much will it shorten the life of the chip?

Steve or anyone else who can answer my question:

<P>
I just got a new 56k USR ext. modem, but for some reason it is much more sensitive to incoming calls whereby my connection easily gets disconnected. Do you know if this can be adjusted so that the modem ignores all incoming calls in order to stay connected? Any help would be great.

Another question: does anybody know anything about ppp emulators such as "slirp" or "TIA"? Thanks..

P.S. It is awefully sad ain't it... Cyrix i mean...
I didn't even know trading has officially ended on Cyrix... My yahoo personal page still has Cyrix up 1 5/16 for the day. I guess that was yesterdays results... Oh well...
