Engineers are not scientists. Scientists do research on groundbreaking science. Engineers apply esisting science and technology. Engineers design things and for the most part for commercial application. Engineers study engineering because they are interested in earning top bucks as an engineer. Most scientists study science out of their love of science and desire to learn. Scientists who want to be professionals mostly have to pursue advanced degrees (PhD minimum). Engineers can get away with a bachelor's degree.

MD's on the other hand are scientists if they have PhD in Medicine and do Medical research. MD's can be just common GP's and just do mostly mundane medicine (like writing Viagara prescriptions).

It's valid to break out the MD's and Engineers from the group.

You win, I have had enough. You are not a disciplined thinker, IMO, so we cannot have a dignified conversation. Of course I was not very dignified to begin with setting you up like that.-lol. So partly my fault and I should apologize.

But you don't seem to understand you have soem learning to do. So in defense you just throw whatever FOX fodder you can find and move on. Maybe it excites you?

You have no understanding of we liberals. You have an image of us, but it is incorrect. When I was young I had the same image, so I know it. I was uneducated until I was almost 20 and worked in a paper bag factory. I hated the hippies at Berkeley.

But looking back I had no friggen idea what they were about. Later on I became one of them.

Your time would be much better spent becoming a hippie liberal-lol!
