Why are ERWers hung up on the term "Republic" so much? Republic means just that there's no monarch, period. Peoples Republic of China is one example. There can be Republics with presidents for life.

Bong'n'Snort says there's no democracy in the USA. In theory there is. But, Americans elect the same gang over and over again that are funded by Big Oil, Big Pharma, Big Military... And it's like there's no democracy at all. They go against the general interests of the People, because they're in the pockets of the Big Money funders.

I agree....there really is no point in discussing it further.

you don't understand the difference between a constitutional republic and a democracy and you are willing to make unsupported accusations about individuals.

But at least you like "nice" people.
