This fellow claims that ALL downloaded XP .ISO files are not legal.

I don't have XP license text handy to be sure, but common sense says that if you installed XP on a machine that was licensed to run XP, it would be OK.

P.S. I once contacted Dell and asked for a replacement CD. They sent me one without charge. Have you tried getting a CD from your system's manufacturer?

P.P.S. The E-Bay deal, $50, with a hard disk included in the deal in too sounds attractive.
