Hi Richard:

Thanks for the update. I agree that we need to see results now. Given the letdown by IPM, it think it's more difficult now for any of us to believe anything we are told. If we are told one story, third-party COC testing reveals a different one. Perhaps we'll have to live with the emotional and price volatility. But I still believe that at the end of the day, we'll see some hefty capital gains.

Regards,

Rand

Richard,

<< Taylor believes that the management by the Montle is why CHIP will be successful as others fail. Jay said that we should not kid ourselves on the difficulty of permits for mining in CA, but that Montle can get the job done. However, I am not ready to jump up and down until I see some real progress on promises from CHIP.>>

Paul Montle is the main reason I own chip. he's a smart one. I may hype the stock<g>, but the company never does. no teasers of grand recovery, yadda, yadda.... in fact, chip has watched ipm closely and is determined not to repeat their mistakes.

having said that, i've been wanting to say something for several days and haven't quite known how to phrase it. i'm very pro chip, my opinion of them hasn't changed one iota. however, i would caution everyone that this is a purely spec. play. we have no independent verification of any kind, and until we do, it's no more than a gamble.
buy some if you can afford to lose the money, trade it, etc., but please don't count on any of these to get 'rich' off of. I promise you there will be plenty of time to buy more if we get good news! if you want a lot of shares, trade it, by all means. i'll be glad to post level II data for anyone who wants to trade chip.

with that said, i'll resume my position as chipleader!<g>

best,
kim
