I don't have a solution, the money has already been wasted and obligated. When our debt exceeds GDP, you can confiscate all the money produced and we're still in debt.

Inflation is the only solution I see, 60 trillion in debt isn't that big a deal when a 20 dollar bill is worth 20c. And yes, the government will confiscate all gold and other items of value if you think that's the ticket. Some editorials written believe inflation is the direction the Fed is currently on...

Until everyone gets on the same page to start from scratch on social security, medicare, and this new ObamaCare nonsense, there is no future. We can argue about defense and education, but both are drops in the bucket compared to the above.

There are examples to be looked at. Texas seems to be doing better than anyone else during these times where other states are dying. I live in Arkansas, even with a democrat governor and congress, we are running a surplus.

The federal government cannot bail out states, I believe that will signal the train has left the station.
