Paul,

What do you think of this rumor, reported by Spencer Katt:

the next major splash in the sub-$1,000 PC pool will be made by IBM and AMD. The two are reportedly discussing the possibility of IBM picking up some K6 manufacturing for AMD, using its new copper chip technology to enable the K6 to reach clock speeds beyond 300MHz and bus speeds above 66MHz.

Hard to believe that IBM is ready to produce anything using the copper chip technology, isn't it?

What do you think about this?
