It's not analogous to anything now going on in Washington. The two parties are on equal footing when it comes to experience, education, knowledge, etc. Where they differ is in the strategies to employ as need to get the country moving forward. Stock Bull

That's exactly right, Dale. Life is an exercise in risk-management. Mixing high-risk actions with low-risk actions only increases the risk relative to those who typically engage in low-risk behaviors. Conservatism generally leads to lower-risk behaviors. In contrast, Liberalism is often associated with high-risk behaviors. With that in mind, why would any Conservative ever want to compromise with the ideas of Liberals? Doing so invariably leads to a lower quality of life for ourselves and our families, as well as significantly higher risks, and undesirable outcomes.
