It's just the last gasp of the Nixon voters still dreaming they can magically transport the world back to the 1950's. Apart from limiting access to abortion in some states and pushing back the inevitable end of legal discrimination against homosexuals (both losing battles over time) the social conservative movement since the 1970's has pretty much been a giant failure; social norms have passed them by like a steamroller, the entertainment industry considers them a niche audience at best, the war on drugs has been a comical failure, and now even Mexican Catholic women are taking control over their own futures instead of being dictated to by a narrow-minded clique. Tick, tock, tick, tock, tick, tock.......I'm so glad all the 20-somethings out there are going to combine to erase this nonsense once and for all.
