mq cannot do math

the rate is not zero

the rateS are both negative

on debt n not-really-savings

mean time i understand s.california wants out of the equation of doom, let us see how the math work out on debt apportionment or not news.yahoo.com - can see another hispanic california breaking off and renege on debt faster than would a chinese california, etc etc

in the mean mean time, confiscation finance.yahoo.com commences

greece was never a problem

the greeks are fine

they never paid their taxes and in theory should still have their euro money

with intro of drachma at sharply devalued rate to euro, the greeks should make out

< Then again ... if truly civilised... why laws :O) > To give bossy busy bodies something to do. They primp and pose, pontificate with persiflage, enjoying their moment of what they think is glory. They seem to never think there are enough laws to be going on with. After another 100 years of law making, they will still find they need to be making lots of new laws. There is no limit to how bossy bossy people will be and how much opm they'll take if they get a chance.

Most people think more regulations are needed. "Omigosh, if only we'd had more regulations, I wouldn't have got into debt and had a mortgagee sale of my house ". Most people in this very stream think that a shortage of laws and regulations was the cause of the financial fun of the last 4 years.

There are plenty of people to oblige them with more laws. I guarantee they will not improve life for those who are so keen to have them.

As TJ says, laws are best kept irrelevant. = deal only with reputable people and for contracts, have arbitrators to decide the outcome. Reputable people operating on Virtuous Victorian Values don't get into legal action with other reputable people operating in the same way.
