Give Iraq more money so they can buy F-16s from us and help our deficit.
My stomach aches.
BTW this Iraq controversy has happened at a very interesting time. There's a multi-billion dollar US national missile defense program that needs plus-up funding and the cost is in excess of the money set aside for it. Very interesting timing.

*off topic*
bearded one: Friday was the last day of congress for the year. Several *expensive* defensive weapons bills were passed and several key defense staffer nominations were chosen.
Perhaps it's not a coincidence that everybody stopped picking on Saddam after Friday. It's hard to justify weapons development without a threat.

B1,

You hit the Saddam on the head when you said that! And I agree... we are being held hostage and WE propose a ransom!

Gulp!

What a world!

I am assuming it is just a delaying tactic to get our military in place to paste him one.

Regards,

Bill
