In a day when the rich are getting richer at the expense of the less fortunate None of my wealth comes at the expense of anyone. And given the current tax rates for the rich, you're paying the equivalent of a child's allowance. You must have been quite generous to your children with their allowance if you gave them what I will pay in taxes this year. I pay a lot of taxes. You want fair. Lets go to a flat tax with little or no deductions. Then those tax loopholes and hiding places wont be there and everyone will pay their fair share. You all are not paying your fair share.........that's why during the past ten years, the nation has been short revenues and the deficit has grown dramatically. No Ted - We are short on revenues and the deficit has grown because we have a govt that has gotten us into wars, given entitlements beyond what we can afford, and played fast and footloose with our pocketbooks while governing to benefit themselves and their party/supporters. And yes I do not care to pony up more money to pay for mismanagement. I much prefer to spend the additional money to help others by donating to charities of my choice. Not for govt redistribution programs.
