Government just cannot force these things. They must evolve under market influences.

That proved to be false. Halogen incandescents are indeed twice as expensive than traditional bulbs. Don't wanna hear the facts, I see. I think your idea of the "cost curve progression" is the same old pipe dream I hear from every vendor of expensive "green technology." "Oh, the price will come down as volumes go up." That ignores the need to find a critical mass of market demand. But since you obviously pretend to know more than you do, I'll let you keep pretending that you know WTF I'm talking about. Tenchusatsu
