This is pure nonsense. This data is peer reviewed. The blogs are not. There's no impropriety in what he's done.

Consult section 2 BACKGROUND OF GISS ANALYSIS METHOD, outlining all the corrections they made to the temperature record. There was a lot done... Some of the corrections were due to spatial distribution of the temperature stations, etc. I suggest you read through it and report back to us on any anomalies. 1000's of scientists have read it and none of them have come up with anything.
