Don, Make that bo diddley. We had a good day today, but I still think we will get down to the 70s or 60s again. They pundits are making a pos. spin on HWP as we post.

Please don't take offense. I too would like to know your reasons for
Dell to move into stratosphere. If anything, Dell should move down
based on the uncertainty created by HWP's earnings.
e.g.
"Currency effects reduced the company's revenue growth by about 5 percentage points. "
Don't you wonder how Dell would be affected by this? Also, CPQ had
awesome earnings and their stock went south after earnings. Also,
a split does not necessarily mean a jump in stock price(consider
what the market did to CPQ and AMAT).
good luck!

Venkie and SuperSonics,

I don't believe either one of you! Each says that they skip over the other ones post or hit the next key, but it sure seems that both of you are answering each other as to what each one of you have just posted! Remember SuperSonics I have a DELL thread for bulls and bears! Come visit, I won't jump on anybody! I will have to admit that this thread has been super nice to this bear! Maybe because I'm just an over stuffed teddy bear as opposed to a big grizzly bear!
Have to admit, that today was not a good day for my shorts, but I did have a very good day for my longs! Also real excited about my biggest holding of Home Depot, because they report earning tomorrow before the open! Should be a blow out quarter!

Hank

Venkie, I don't want to get into this kind of personal attack back and forthwith you. All I am saying is that some of your posts are good with some good points and your belief. But some of them like tomorrow will be 90, 100 and etc. don't make any sense and you are doing this again and again. You know and I know that it is virtual impossible to predict tommorrow. Then why doing that. I never said I know.

My opinion is that DELL's growth will (if not already) slow down in the next couple of quarters with the market embrace the sub-1000 PCs and everyone is mimic what DELL is doing (bto model) and dell maybe near the top.

I didn't try to scare the longs or make fun of the longs when DELL was going down, and I don't think you should do that with the shorts either.
