Thanks for the article on build to order. If the understanding of DELL's competitors reference build to order is at the same elementary level as the writer of the article than DELL will have nothing to worry about for several years. Bottom line, market forces will not allow all suppliers will be squeezed out of business. If this were to happen there would be no more components thus no more computers.
Build to order and lean logistics in most cases works best within some type of long term contracting framework. Within this type of framework, companies don't just call up randomly out of the blue and say ship me xxx widgets. I could go on and on but I will not as most will fall asleep.

Anyway, the market is doing well this week. Let's hope we close out with a strong showing on Friday.
