here's the link...

qfora.com

i recently saw an interview by the prof mentioned and he was including - besides the cost of college/medical school - the 11 years spent studying/interning. Assuming it takes you for years to become a master plumber through apprenticeship, the plumber, in addition to his saving on education costs has and additional 7 income producing years.

i think if one truly runs the numbers this it is quite possible he is correct.

i have a nephew attending Harvard to become a dental surgeon. i'll ask my sister sometime what its costing. i'm assuming around $300k.

i have one slight problem with your post , i do NOT believe it. <<A recent study by a Boston University proffesor found that plumbers make more after tax money in their lives than do physicians."" A recent study by ONE Boston University professor comes to that conclusion. i bet it could be shot down as BS.Max

Max, apparently you do not own your own home, you are a renter. How do I know this? Because you have never called a plumber, you called the landlord.

You would know what Klaser says is true when you pay the plumbers bill!
