The "budget deficit" the liberals were so giddy about was an estimate done BEFORE the TX legislature set the next two year budget.

The only parallel with democrats is it's been two years since they proposed a budget.

Brumar...yup, Texas really has their budget debt under control...

Right now in July they are exceeding their revenue by spending $41 Bn+ more than they are receiving and their overall debt is growing.

Yup, that 2 year budget Perry signed in January is really working well.

What we need is for those repugs in the House to keep pushing their Balanced Budget Amendment which no doubt is patterned after that Perry set of mirrors
