yeah yeah..believe all that American propaganda. Said that about the 21 and the 25 too but the reality is they shot down the F-4 and the f-86, 4 to one.

Fact is they are faster, slower roll but more stable in flight, faster turn and climb and they fly farther and higher much higher. f15's can't get up to their height. Lower payload. F15 is a bomber by comparison. Eagles are a parlour trick. Only do that sans payload.

Light on instruments but its different philosophy. MIgs are run off
central radar control freqently. IF you can take that out you can deter their group defense. Also their own radar is very powerful
and unjammable close in. The US planes also work off central mobile
radar. They are slightly ahead on digital recog. techniques for group
attack.

You should read the lastest Janes on the latest MIGs. I would say one on one the F15 had better be down low and have a good pilot.

The F15 was built to keep up to the foxbat. the latest migs are ahead of that still. so we are still playing catchup. Where we shine is radar and jammming and tech stuff. Tactical group attacks and co-ordination of specialized role-craft ground attacks are a specialty that I don't think the Russians have really mastered.

I am not sure on that maintenance thing as the MIG in general was not made to be finicky. The Czechs never said anything about the fleet they had being a big headache.
