Someone is not measuring correctly. In this area of the D.C. suburbs, our houses have fallen in value by $100,000. in a year's time.

People who had hoped to sell at modest prices for the D.C. market are rethinking what to do----------for those who get transferred via the military or businesses there is little hope. They will sell at losses or be faced with being absentee landlords or renters when they move, if they move.

These are folks who put substantial sums into their homes------ah yes many putting 20% down as Obama is now advocating.

I would say to new buyers don't be gullible and buy into Mr. obama's advice------you will need that 20% that you put into a house if Mr. Obama is reelected.

Better to rent, save your dollars and bide your time.
